Neil Savant is the Founder and CEO of NUOS Home Automation a Mumbai-based IoT startup he founded in 2014 with a singular conviction: that cutting-edge home and office automation should be accessible to every Indian, not just the privileged few. A Masters in Electrical Engineering graduate from The Ohio State University, Neil spent four years in the US working at Navistar and Cummins Inc. where he was recognised by the VP of Engineering for best performance before walking away from a lucrative corporate career to come back to India and build something of his own. He brings deep technical expertise in embedded systems, power electronics, control systems, and IoT firmware to everything he builds, combined with a founder’s instinct for making complex technology feel simple and intuitive for everyday users. NUOS’s products are entirely designed and manufactured in India modular, retrofit-friendly smart switches and sensors compatible with Zigbee 3.0, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa a testament to Neil’s belief in building world-class hardware on home soil.
